My name is Marcel. In 2022, I inherited the responsibility of managing 20 acres of family land—land that my father cleared with his own hands and built from nothing.

There was just one problem: I live thousands of miles away.

Managing remotely meant relying entirely on farm managers for information. But the record-keeping was chaos. Expenses scribbled on scraps of paper. Harvest numbers that didn't add up. Whatsapp messages at 3am that raised more questions than answers. I once discovered we'd been paying for fertilizer that never arrived—three months after the fact.

The breaking point came when I couldn't answer a simple question from my father: "Are we losing money?"

I didn't know. After all the calls, all the spreadsheets, all the stress—I genuinely couldn't tell him if the farm my father built was profitable or slowly bleeding out. That silence on the phone haunted me.

I searched everywhere for a solution. Enterprise farm software wanted $500/month—more than some of our workers earned. The free apps were glorified notepads. Nothing was built for farmers like us: small-to-medium operations trying to professionalize without going bankrupt.

So in late 2025, I decided to build it myself. I gathered a small team of what I call "tech-adjacent farmers"—people who understand that a great app means nothing if it doesn't work on a dusty phone with spotty signal in the middle of a field.

Today, I can tell you exactly what every acre costs, what every animal produces, and yes—whether we're making money. More importantly, I can finally answer my father's question.
